Mommy has taken so many pictures of us since the last update, but she's really busy with work and the holidays to post them now. At this rate, we'll be in college by the time those photos get posted. Mommy's also really busy planning Alexander's 1st birthday party. So, for now enjoy this picture of Alex and me in the bathtub - with Daddy close by of course!
Hi everyone - it's Alex! We're getting ready for Halloween and Mommy and Daddy took Nick and me to the pumpkin patch. It was a sunny day and Mommy thought it would be a good idea if I wore my sunglasses and maybe a hat. Turns out that I didn't need them because I stayed in my stroller most of the time.
I guess I'm what Daddy would call a city-kid because when Mommy sat me down in the grass I cried and screamed. I had a similar reaction when I put my hand on any of the pumpkins at the patch. So what? So I don't like the outdoors and grass and the country and fresh air. Do I make fun of you guys about your fears and phobias? Well all right then. To the pictures:
The summer has gone so fast and we're pretty much into fall. It's Nicholas - I turned 2 this past August and we had my birthday party at the Kohl Children's Museum. I spent the majority of the time at the water exhibit and didn't really attend my party. Mommy and Daddy thought that was okay since it was my birthday!

Alex is skooching along on his belly - something between a crawl and a skooch. He knows how to clap and how to open and close his hand (play "Close Open"). He also smiles and laughs a lot. He loves to eat his oatmeal in the morning and sweet potatoes and/or squash in the afternoon. Alex also started teething a month or so ago. It started with 2 new teeth on the bottom and now he has 4 new teeth coming in on the top (ALL AT ONCE)! He's a little bit grouchy lately.
Mommy is planning Alex's birthday party in December. It's going to be the beginning of a busy holiday season!
